The clearer the description, the easier it is to arrange the visit and the better prepared the technician is on arrival. You don't need technical knowledge — just notice and note things down.
Quick checklist
- Appliance type and brand.
- Model number: usually on a sticker at the back, or inside the door on washers, dishwashers and ovens.
- Any error code on the display — a photo is best.
- What happens, in your own words: does it not start at all, start and stop, or work with a noise or a leak?
- When the problem started, and whether it happens every time or only sometimes.
- Your area and neighbourhood, and a convenient time for the visit.
Why the model number matters
One brand makes many models that differ in design, parts and even error codes. The model number helps the technician know your exact appliance before the visit.
What you don't need to do
You don't need to open the appliance or try to identify the faulty part. Your role is to describe what you see; diagnosis is the technician's job. For your safety, don't try to dismantle any appliance that involves electricity, water or gas.
Our booking form puts all of this into a single WhatsApp message. The visit is confirmed once The Elite team contacts you.
